CHORIZO AND CABBAGE STEW (Old Traditional Meal)

1 large Cabbage

500g Rudi’s Argentine Chorizo (or 2 per person)

3 Large onions cut into rings

1 Garlic clove finely chopped

1 Can chopped tomatoes (Pomodoro)

A little olive oil and white wine

Salt and Pepper

Any White cheese grated

METHOD

1 Place the bed of onions in a casserole dish (earthware), drizzle with olive oil.

2 Place strips of cabbage on top of onions in casserole dish and drizzle with a little white wine

3 Nest Chorizo,s on top of cabbage, cover with tomatoes. Cover and simmer on low heat or in the oven at 140 degrees for 1 hour

4 Add grated cheese before serving.

5 Serve with boiled potatoes.
